According to a poll conducted by SevenEduM from July 27 to August 9, 2ne1 ranked number 1 as the female idol group with the most success potential in the United States.

From the 378 individuals selected for the poll, a significant 49% (184 individuals) voted for 2ne1. TheWonder Girls ranked 2nd for getting 13% (50 individuals).

SevenEduM representative Cha Gil Young mentioned, “will.i.am  has recently visited Korea this past May to stop by YG Ent. He sat down with YG’s CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, main producer, Teddy, and the 2ne1 members to talk about their debut.” He also mentioned that with the “NEW EVOLUTION” global tour coming up, it looks like 2ne1 has a successful chance of breaking into the US music scene.
